Dr. Donald Hannoun, MD

Dr.Hannoun would not call me on the phone to discuss matters. I had to wait for a future appointment in order to find out what was wrong and what his recommendations were. He never told me what his recommendations were for my prostate cancer! I have no idea if he wants to do surgery, radiation or some other form of treatment. Dr. Hannoun refuses to look at any studies that might recommend something different than what he's thinking (whatever that is). I left without any real input from him except saying I should see a psychiatrist. I still don't know what he wanted to do although his staff said he's a surgeon & would want to destroy everything. That kind of talk and lack of communication would make many people want to seek out a psychiatrist! I now have to wait for another appointment and bring in a social worker to see what's going on. I don't know why he refuses to give me a quick call and say what treatment he had in mind!

Dr. Hanoun has treated me for going on 4 years. Until I was lucky enough to be referred through my Ins. I had been suffering from Kidney Stones since 1990. The information, true concern and one on one care that he has provided to me, is exceptional. My sibling and her husband, my mother and as of 2-22-2019 my husband will be his patient. I have been seen by many of the Dr's in my area. I would only recommend Donald Hanoun, MD. During ones appointment he is 100% focused on "you" the patient. If I could give he 50 stars I would. Yet, I'm limited to 5. Dr. Hanoun is worthy in every way of all 5. Thank you Dr. Hanoun for your everything that you bring to our time spent during my appointments.

He performed a biopsy to determine cancer state. He explained each step in detail both in a consult before hand and during the procedure. He answered every question we had without the typical medical jargon.
