Dr. Donald Lee Hoffman, DDS

Had a tooth that had to be pulled asap, as the pain was over the top, and i was leaving town in a couple of days. Dr. Hoffman's office was able to see me with in a couple of hours. I recommend the " laughing gas", to keep you a little more relaxed. Once my mouth was numb, Dr. Hoffman removed my cracked tooth quickly and painlessly, even thowing in a couple of jokes for good measure. After the procedure, he sat down with my wife and I, to explain things moving forward, ( ie : ice, no nuts and the like, no playing trombone ), and caustioned not to use the pain meds, unless i really needed them. I only needed the codine for that night. Exellent Oral guy, nice guy, lives in the area. Recommend 100%.

He was nice in the office told me that he was going to review my tests and call me in couple days! I waited 2 WEEKS GOING ON 3, so I called him , it took him 3 more days before he called me back. He had the gall to say that he been busy.

I went to see Dr. Hoffman about a new tooth extraction. He took a panoramic XRAY of my teeth. I soon learned from another Dentist that Hoffman had erroneously left a piece of root in the cavity of an extraction that he had performed on a different upper molar or mine a number of years ago. Why was it there? Why didn't Hoffman attempt to remove it? Two other surgeons noticed the remnant on Hoffman’s XRAY and held that it was careless for a Dentist to have missed the remnant piece of root. It should have been removed. Hoffman's office said they would not remedy the surgical Error/Omission. My oral surgeon has quoted a cost of $300 to remove this remnant left by Hoffman.

Dr. Hoffman is personable, knowledgable and professional. My tooth extraction was painless and very quick. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends.

Incompetent and rude. Didn't follow my plan, denied blame for mistakes and outcome.
