Dr. Horton, along with other providers at St. Anthony Hospital in OKC saved my sister's life! She had four strokes in five weeks at the age of 51. Dr. Horton is her neurosurgeon... He prayed with her & our entire family prior to her procedure and has followed her journey. You can't say that about everyone!

I have several medical issues that require visits to several doctors and health facilities. I have never had as bad of an experience as I had with Dr. Horton's office. They are highly disorganized and dismissive. I had to follow up several times about test results and subsequent appointments. What should have taken weeks took months. I am not sure if this is the fault of Dr. Horton or his staff but it made for a disheartening experience for me. I am in constant pain and waited entirely too long for answers as to how or if Dr. Horton could treat my back issues.

Dr. Horton performed a resection of a malignant brain tumor in the cerebellum and protruding into the brain stem in 1994 ( I was 9). This was a very delicate surgery that can be very devastating even with excellent surgeons. 18 years later I am doing very well and am a licensed Counselor in Oklahoma. I have had many different doctors tell me how amazing my recovery has been and still is. I just had a neurologist in Dallas Friday tell me how amazing my recovery was (he just did a neuro eval, was talking to me and had just viewed some old scans). This review can't do Dr. Horton justice, he is an excellent surgeon, caring Dr., and great person (he took a day off when I was in 4th grade to put on a presentation about my surgery and recovery for my entire 4th grade-complete with slides and scans). I hope this review helps with your decision and or give you some peace of mind about your procedure.
