Dr. Donald James Iverson, MD

Dr. Iverson was spectacular about diagnosing my condition, even though the primary care physician didn't catch it at first. I was surprised and encouraged about his comprehensive review of my ailment. Dr. Iverson's direct expertise on the matter was refreshing, especially when I found out that as my condition has only been really understood during the 21st century. He has a very satisfying and professional way of discourse and a friendly overall presence. I would never want to go to any other Neurologist, unless it's required.

The visit was an absolute waste of time. As soon as he came in the exam room it was clear his goal was to get me out as fast as possible. He hardly listened to anything I said and had no interest in letting me describe my symptoms. He picked a diagnosis that doesn't match half my symptoms, which he would know if he paid any attention, and gave me steroid injections that worsened my problems. Instead of the 45 minute new patient appointment I was supposed to have, I was out the door in 5 minutes in worse shape than I started in. Hands down the worst doctor I've ever had the displeasure of working with.

Not a nice person... extremely unprofessional and arrogant

I was a patient for 13 years for my multiple sclerosis. I finally had back to back relapses and needed help with disability paperwork and an alternative treatment plan. Iverson treated me like I didn’t matter and I was inconveniencing him by scheduling an appointment for my paperwork. He literally threw his hands in the air and said “what do you want” while I say in the patient bed and cried, I was losing my career and he couldn’t be bothered to help me create a plan or even help me develop a treatment to get better. His bedside manner was always questionable but this was the last straw. I had to cut my ties and move to someone else due to his unprofessional and lack of concern for my wellbeing. Iverson is not what I want in a doctor. If you want someone who will judge you for your treatment choices and not have discussions with you on how to actually feel better then he’s your guy. If you want someone who cares about his work and wants you to improve your condition then look… elsewhere. I do however love the staff and felt they treated me like a person and helped me transition to alternative medical care.

My husband is a patient of Dr Iverson and has been for several years. Dr Iverson has been thorough, conscientious, and kind. He listens to his patients and their caregivers. He is supportive in getting paperwork for disability and other paperwork.

Do not go to this Dr . mis-diagnosed my wife, wouldn't order testing which could've detected her ALS...for 2 yrs.. her quality of life is greatly diminished thanks to this no good man... now she cant walk and is on breathing machines with a feeding tube in her stomach

Dr. Iverson and his staff are wonderful with my 2 grandsons, aged 4 and 7. I find him to be very comfortable to talk to. He is prompt for appointments and makes sure all our questions are answered before we leave. He is direct and easy to understand. The office staff is efficient, kind and friendly. Debbie, the EEG technician is fantastic!

Dr. Iverson has been my daughter's doctor for a number of years. He 's very knowledgable and compassionate. He has always gotten back to us immediately if we had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Iverson is knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. His staff is professional and very helpful with prescriptions, paperwork and the like. Neurological damage is frightening, and I'm thankful for his practice.

He has no compassion for kids. Visits don't last more that 5 minutes. Will look for a child neurologist for a second opinion and who has a compassion for kids that they are treating.
