Dr. Donald Han Lee, MD

I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Lee for a number of years. Without a doubt, Dr. Lee is a consummate professional. I would not trust anyone else with my hands except Dr. Lee. I highly recommend him for your hands.

He was the best Surgeon I've ever had. He performed my shoulder surgery 6 years ago. I have full use of my arm & shoulder. Finally found him again as my hands are in terrible pain. Had I known he was retiring I would've chose surgery. I had no idea!!!! I wish I would've known. Im so sad every morning I wake with this excruciating pain Im ready to quit! I miss him dearly but he deserves a happy & blessed retirement!

I would not recommend this dr to anyone. he does not take the time to explain things to you. he is in a hurry to get in and out. had me terrified to have carpel tunnel surgery that I put it off til I couldn't take it any more and had the surgery done by someone else.

This appointment was a bad experience and an example of the provider's poor communication. First, the resident who saw me before the provider didn't know why I was there so there was miscommunication to begin with. Then we decided that the provider wanted to see me to check in before my surgery and I used It as an opportunity to ask him some questions about the surgery, my care post operation and rehabilitation. It took multiple questions to get the simple answers I needed (I.e. Pain meds post operation, elevating my arm, wearing a sling, and how long until I would return to normal activities). Provider showed no understanding and seem to belittle me for asking my questions which I thought were especially pertinent. I was frustrated and disappointed with the treatment I experienced from the providers rude and Impatient style of communication. Although I know the provider is highly trained and experienced in surgery, he has no ability to converse with a patient about a big operation.

Knowable and professional

The resident and PA (or nurse) were all caring and interested. The MD -- not.

Not sure how to rate the recommendation. Dr clearly is excellent, but the wait to see him, followed by a wait (still waiting) to get PT he prescribed, actually prescribed/put in the system. Frustrating.

Dr Lee was very impressive

His interns and support staff are fabulous. They're saving my hand.
