Dr. Donald H Lieberman, MD

Dr Lieberman does not follow up with his patients. Extremely poor in returning phone calls or fax messages.I agree with other patients, does not take enough time with his patients for diagnosis. We the family are considering changing Physicians. Then why waist your time to see MD's, unless you have a cold anything els go straight to a required specialist. Don't waist your time with MD's unless your Ins request a referral.

I found Dr. Lieberman very personable, attentive and obviously professional. Outstanding PCP.

Dr. Lieberman seems to be a really nice guy but he rushes through appointments. He is very dismissive and does not do appropriate screenings. I feel that I am inconveniencing him for the full 5 minutes I get to spend with him. This style may work well for some but not for me. Thank goodness I switched doctors. I went in to redo my physical with the new doctor and he actually did an exam and ordered routine screenings and a problem was uncovered. If I left my care to Dr. Lieberman who knows how long this could have gone we found out?

I started seeing 'doctors' when I was 19 years old. For the first 4 years I was bounced from doctor to doctor, no one seeming to know how to diagnose me. It was very frustrating. I was thrilled when I finally found one that took the time to care. We worked together on my health conditions and ten years later it was traumatizing to 'lose' my doctor to another job location. I was afraid I'd have to start the search all over again. But then I found Dr. Lieberman! He turned out to be a blessing! He is extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We found that through mutual respect we could work through my health issues and I've been under his care for 7 years now. HE's one to stick with! I HIGHLY recommend him as a sincere, GENUINELY caring professional doctor if you are seeking genuine healthcare.

In sever pain, I got an appt for the next day. X-rays taken- "no problem" noted- take extra strength Aleeve- call back in 2 days- called back the next day after taking more than prescribed amount for more than 24 hours with no relief. Told Dr. Lieberman was gone unti the next week (why did he tell me to call back?) but the MA would check with the Dr of call.I called to check- no return call- Both Dr. Lieberman and the MA were told I was leaving the state in a few days....the MA left a message 4 days later on my home phone stating the dr on call had called in a prescription (did not tell where) for me. I kept taking Aleeve for the 12 days!Had a ct scan...knew Dr. Lieberman would be gone, so I called the office 2 weeks later to ask results- He had been back Since Monday but did not call me until Friday with the results....although things were found, he did not suggest I come in to review the results. I called and requested a copy be sent to me. 2 1/2 months later and I still do… not have them.And yes, I have changed doctors!

I was glad that I chose Dr. Lieberman when I lived in Tucson for six months in 1991. When I returned permanently a couple years ago I was glad he took me back as patient and I have been with him ever since. He has always beeen professional and personable. I depend upon his diagnosis and recommendations even when they are sometimes contrary to my own. I would recommend him to anyone I know.
