Dr. Donald Charles Lipkis, MD

I've been back to this physician for the same exact pain over the last several years....but no more! He wasn't interested in the least, in finding out what the problem was....telling me it was likely an ulcer. After many expensive middle of the night trips to the ER over the years, with me doubled over in excruciating pain....I was finally diagnosed as having Pancreatitis. It also teeded me off that whenever I had a flare up of pain & followed up w/ this doctor, I was told to call & the girls would get me right in, to get tests done (since he would like to see me in a full flare)....yet, 3 different times this happenened....I was told that they were very busy & I was worked in, at the earliest - 2-3 weeks later- after the flare up had passed & my expensive ER bills had arrived & worst yet....my expensive sonograms showed zilch! Not Kidding .... my flare ups were gone by the time they got me worked in! What waste of time & money. On a positive note....the doctor has good bedside… manner.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Lipkis is professional, accurate, persistent finding problem and gives excellent diagnois and solutions. would recommend

My PCP set up referral appt. easy. called in Pretty quick and Dr. Lipkis seemed very professional. Office staff and especially Dr's assistant very unprofessional. I've called 5 times No answer from assistant and NO call back. Assistant is direct reflection of DR's professionalism. very bad!!! I went to another GI Doctor instead. beware.

Dr. Lipkis was such a pleasure to have as a physician. He was gentle, kind, thorough and spent extra time explaining the nature of my medical problems in a way my husband and I could understand clearly. When I had questions he promptly called me back on the phone. Wonderful doctor with a supportive staff.
