Dr. Donald A Marks, MD

One of the best physicians the Veterans Clinic employed.

I have been a patient of Donald Marks for two years now, and he had ignored symptoms of serious conditions and just shrugs them off rather than take the time to examine his patients. He also cannot remember what dosages he prescribes for medications.

He treated us with such disrespect at the Veteran's Clinic. He wanted to go to lunch or something and the nurse had to just about beg him to stay. We had been there since 930 and our apt was 10. He finally saw us at 1145. Very reluctantly. Thank goodness we only have to see him once a year to renew meds. I feel sorry for the Veterans who rely on him.

Spends more time lecturing than listening. Spent 80% of the time of the appointment hunt and peck typing on the computer.

What a joke. Never listens to anything that I have to say. Has twice cost me an emergency room visit because of lack of treatment at the office. Also cost me a trip to a surgeon to get a cyst removed that he said was external. The cyst had been there for over a year and he never did anything. Looked at it with a flashlight from across the room and said "no one here is going to be cutting on you". Thanks doc. Stay far away from this guy if at all possible.

I am a former patient of Dr marks for 6 yrs and being treated for acid reflux, High white blood count and weight loss for that 6 yrs. I recently went to the emergency room with severe stomach cramps to find out a simple CT scan showed I had stage 4 esophageal cancer that had matastisized to my liver and I have 6 - 12 months to live. I saw Dr marks in the hospital 3 weeks later in the hallway and said, (Dr marks they found out what was wrong with me, I'm dying of caner and he responded by saying I DONT KNOW YOU and walked off.
