Dr. Pierce joined our practice in 1998 and became a partner in 2000. Dr. Pierce strives to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. After carefully listening to his patient's needs and concerns, he will create a plan for a lifetime of dental health.
Dr. Pierce attended the University of Delaware, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's of Arts in Biological Sciences. He was a member of the University's Honor's Program and elected to Delaware's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Following graduation from his undergraduate program, Dr. Pierce entered dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. During school, he participate in the Dominican Republic Dental Project, providing dental care to the poor for two weeks in remote villages throughout the Dominican Republic.
After Dental School, Dr. Pierce served for one year as a resident at the Baltimore Veteran's Administrion's Hospital treating veterans in a state of the art facility. …The following year, Dr. Pierce accepted the one year position of Chief Resident at the York Hospital Dental service in York, Pennsylvania. The position provided an opportunity to work closely with many area specialists and experience a wide array of pediatric dental challenges.
In 2011, as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Pierce achieved the Academy’s highest award for continuing dental education. By becoming a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Pierce has demonstrated a long-term commitment to superior dental care. Over 1100 hours of disciplined and comprehensive dental study covering all aspects of dentistry are required in order to achieve Mastership in the Academy.
A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Pierce enjoys living and working close to family. A member of the American Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Pierce continues to pursue educational opportunities to advance his knowledge of Dentistry. He is active in the local community, having served as President of the Attleboro Rotary club and is now serving on the committee for the Elder Care Program in Attleboro.
Dr. Pierce, a resident of Mansfield, is married to Dr. Brenda Pierce, one of two Periodontists in our practice. They have two children, and enjoy traveling, skiing and beach trips with the whole family.
