Dr. Donald Richard Schoch, MD

Dr. Schoch was so professional and caring. My husband went with me for my colonoscopy and he too was quite impressed with Dr. Schoch's attention to my well being.

He didnt treat my husband well, said that he had a disorder in his head, after doing an endoscopy. Went to a different doctor and it turned out to be acid reflux.. He was cured with an upped dosage of OTC acid reflux medication...Our new dr said, "I have no idea how he did not see it was this bad." He also told my husband that hes rarely wrong. I think we have proved that he was very wrong.

All this doctor did every visit was talk about nonsense and flirt with the interns and staff. I do not recommend this doctor! He did not address my health concerns at all. I will not be returning.

I honestly have no idea how this man manages to stay employed. He calls everyone a drug seeker if they have the audacity to request pain medicine when they're pooping blood. He has an absolutely ridiculous god complex likes to speak to you as if you were a mentally impaired child. He has released me from the hospital claiming that I wasn't really sick when I actually had a c-diff infection. He also likes to make personal remarks about his patients that are completely inappropriate and judgmental.

Dr. Schoc is extremely rude, to the point of aggression.

While he doesn't have much experience with transgender patients he was always courteous, repeatedly made sure I was comfortable, corrected any mistakes he made, and was open to changes/suggestions about his wording with absolutely no condescension or judgement. Any awkward moments were compensated by the way he clearly cared about me being healthy and supported in all aspects of my life, not just the one he's paid for. His staff are equally dedicated. When a new nurse used the wrong pronoun another one who'd met me before quickly pulled her aside and fixed the problem. He explains what's going on (ambiguities included) and works with me for practical solutions. As soon as he heard the price of my medication when my insurance changed he offered a cheaper alternative to try.
