Dr. Donald Lynn Spicer, MD

I was recently referred to Urologist, Dr. Donald Spicer, to determine the cause of microscopic blood cells in urine. With my very first visit with Dr. Spicer, I found him very welcoming and very thorough in his examinations. He listened intently to my concerns and explained everything in detail to ensure I understood the reasoning for his prescribed tests and procedures. He took the time to ensure I understood the process and was very open to discussion. I found Dr. Spicer to be very pro-active and highly skilled in his profession. I was amazed at how the staff at Baptist Hospital worked together as a team, was very efficient and professional at their jobs, and demonstrated top-notch patient care. Nurse Anesthetist, Phillip Ellegood, was very caring and made me feel safe and comfortable before putting me to sleep in surgery. It was noticeable how he treats his patients with kindness and respect. The care provided by the Recovery Room staff was Outstanding! Registered Nurse,… Carole Shelby, was first class in being attentive and responsive to my needs, ensuring my safety and comfort while recovering from anesthesia. To say I was satisfied with Dr. Spicer and all his staff, is putting it mildly. My experience with Dr. Spicer and his staff far exceeded my expectations - it was OUTSTANDING!!

I have been to Dr Spicer on several occasions and was treated with the utmost care and professionalism. My appointments were on schedule and never had to wait long to see him. Top notch doctor in my book.

Dr. Spice did surgery on me placing a mesh to hold my bladder up due to severe leakage. It did not help my leakage at all. All he said was the surgery was successful and I should not still have leakage. It was the same if not worse after the surgery. I continue to have bladder infections since he placed my mesh in 2005.

Always have to wait in this office! It's like they think my time is not worth as much as the Dr.'s time! They must double book appointments so they will not lose any payments.

My wait was 2 hours. Went he finely came in he said that a kidney stone was not the cause of my pain. He didnt know the cause but it was not worth treating. Then left. He didn't care to find out the cause of my pain. I didn't get my copay back and he is charging me for an office visit. That total crap!

He really cares about his patient and you know that he cares. I wish we had more regular Drs like him
