My partner and myself have seen Dr. Venes for close to two years now. I feel as if I finally found a good fit. He is very knowledgeable and listens. He is also caring and compassionate. Both of us like the way our health care is being handled, finally. It hasn't been easy living here and getting good care and treatment. My only complaint would be that the Doctor only works part time now.

2 + years seeing this guy for he same ailment , followed all his advice. I'm no better in any way . In fact much worse ! Man has no compassion , seems likes to hear himself talk. Errogant And seems to have trouble with truth.

I've been with Dr. Venes for about a year, and find him a terrific doctor. My husband is a patient as well and adds his vote of confidence in Dr. Venes.

HORRIBLE !!! I waited 1 1/2 weeks for a 45 minute new patient new PCP appointment and he had to leave early? and I told him I had hurt my back again 2 weeks before, but he said he didn't have enough information and wouldn't give me a referral? and my last heart Dr said to get a new heart Dr right away and he said not enough information and wouldn't give me a referral? and I brought all of my meds for refills and he didn't do that? and I was out of my heart meds so i called back a bunch of times till he gave me meds with no refills? I feel bad for the people that have to see him? BAD !!!

I've been to Dr. Venes several times since moving to Brookings, and I find him a very good doctor. Personable, caring, thorough, all with a smile. My husband and I are both happy with our new doctor.

Never truly diagnosis anything. Almost like he doesn't know his data. Very non plussed, tells lots of jokes which to him seem more important than info on condition one is there for.
