I Had Dr. Wiss do my surgery, he had to reconstruct my heel that had been shattered. I have been back to him several times since for other issues. Great bedside manner, explains everything in detail. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome

I was flown to the hospital with a multi-compound fractures to my arm. The Trauma Surgeon put me back togethering so poorly that bones did not heal and hardware was failing. Thanks to Dr. Wiss, my arm is good again. He rebuilt in and made it possible for me to ride dirt bikes again. This after I was told by 3 different Doctors that I would likely not have solid normal use of it and none wanted to touch it. Professional, kind and very good at what he does. I cannot speak highly enough of him.

Dr. Wiss is the most calm and respectful doctor I have ever seen. He has helped me through my darkest times, last year I was in a fatal car crash and he brought me back to life. His work is so dilligent and experienced that you feel the comfort ness when you talk to him. I highly recommend Dr. Wiss! Best best best

I had surgery with Dr Wiss last week and today was my first checkup. I am brought to tears by how great of a job he did and the care that he showed. I am grateful that he was the surgeon who operated on me and the doctor that will be looking out for me. I truly am thankful to him.

Great ortho doctor

I am a former patient of Dr Wiss. In 1987 I was in a near deadly motorcycle accident. The doctor who originally worked on me, however had good intentions deformed me permanently. After seeing many specialists that could not fix me, one of the Drs contacted me (in the early 90s) to say he had read about a Dr who could possibly help me walk again. Of Coarse it was Dr Wiss. I was a single young father raising my daughter 100 percent on my own. I was in a wheelchair, I had no money and no where to turn. He worked with me and helped me go and do what I needed to get this done. He donated so much of his time, including visiting me in the hospital daily and weekends. He is a Great doctor, father and human being. He has not only helped me walk again, but I run and exercise everyday. I have a great career and own my own home. I have God and Dr Wiss to thank for that.

This man is is an orthopaedic god, period. If it were not for him, I would have surely lost both my legs to amputation from a near fatal helicopter crash. Dr. Wiss flawlessly performed numerous surgeries on my legs and feet until I could retain my legs and learn to walk again. I would not merely recommend the man, I would insist on him.

Seven years ago Dr. Wiss treated me for a hip fracture which did not heal. I was impressed by the way in which he immediately began planning the techniques he'd use for surgery when he first saw my xrays. I was only in for a consult, but he saw the need. Because of complications, I was hospitalized much longer than was expected. He was at my side whenever I needed him, even coming straight to the hospital after taking a red-eye flight after a presentation at a seminar in Atlanta. He even came to the hospital to take out the staples because I did only trusted him to treat my hip with the least amount of pain. He knew how hard it was for me to be in the hospital for those many weeks and away from my family and apologized for my "extended incarceration" at my first appointment upon release. Because of Dr. Wiss's skills, I was able to return to teaching children with special needs. One of my happiest moments was pushing a second grade student's wheelchair to first base after he had… hit the ball playing baseball. Dr. Wiss judged my recovery upon my ability to perform everyday life tasks. He gave me more than that. He gave me the ability to give to others.
