Dr. Donald P. Younkin

We transferred here from Children's hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Younkin took a very long time and reviewed the very LONG medical record with me. He spent over an hour with us and answered all of my questions. I thought he was extremely knowledgeable. My son has a few different, somewhat complicated issues, and he went over them all!! Highly recommend.

Beware Dr. Younkin is looking for the easy answer not willing to look deeper into the problem. Has no personality or bedside manner. Treats patient like they are no more then a cardboard cutout.

I think dr young kin was a great dr. He even called me to tell me I can stay at his practice until I found a new dr because I turned 21. I think he's the best dr ever. He diagnosed me as soon as I walked in his office at 12 years old. He seen me until I was 20 years old. Great dr!!!!

Although he is a pediatric neurologist, his bedside manner is better served as a pathologist. He barely spoke to our daughter and to us as her parents. He was rude and failed to explain his diagnosis. We would recommend trying another neurologist.

Dr. Younkin misdiagnosed my child's concussion. He stated that my child was faking it. Unfortunately seven months later, my child is still out of school and experiencing symptoms. Dr. Younkin also had the coldest, least personable affect of any doctor I've ever met. Avoid him at all costs.

This Doctor caused me to suffer in the most unimaginable pain of my life because he is incapable, incompetent and uncaring. The AMA should take Dr. Younkins license and there is no way he should be on the staff at a great hospital like CHOP. He kept insisting that I was faking and I nearly died because of his unwillingness to investigate the true cause of my symptoms. I only wish I could make him suffer in as much pain as he put me through
