Dr. Donato Ciaccia, MD

When he came in the operating room he introduce himself and before I could ask any questions about my surgery he was gone. That was very rude. I have the right to know about my surgery.That tells me he isn't very caring. My followup appt won't be with him. I will be seeing the colon specialist he worked with. He came to see me couple times when I was in the hospital. So nice and caring. Dr ciaccia didn't visit once. No bedside manner.

Recently I had both an upper scope and lower (colon) scope done by Dr Ciaccia. He did an excellent job! This was the first time I had both of these procedures done so I was a bit nervous! But Dr Ciaccia and his nurses made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I had no issues from the procedures! The staff answered all my questions and made sure I knew what we were doing. I worried for nothing. I highly recommend this Dr if you're having the scopes done! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and he knows what he's doing! Keep up the great work! You the real mvp!

I have seen Dr. Ciaccia for years now and he is the one who fixed me after a botched surgery. I have always found him to be spot on, courteous and very thorough in his explanations of my issues. He has done 4 or 5 colonoscopies and at least a half dozen endoscopies and each experience has been very pleasant and my husband was well informed of what was going on each and every time. Office visits are sometimes difficult because he is busy, but they have always made time for me when there was a need. I highly recommend him.....

Had appointment for an office visit, and paid copay for an office visit, but I never got to see this doctor, only got to see his assistant (PA).

I had a Colonoscopy and was administer too munch demerol. I had servere vominting and nausea for 48 hours I told the nurse that I have issues with demerol she said it was noted in my chart for the doctor to see. Before I left the surgery center I was very sick I could not walk but he sent me home anyway. Dr Ciaccia bedside manor was terrible he did not answer any of my husbands questions. He just stated everything looked ok per my husband and walked away. Please do not go to him!!!
