Dr. Donna R Amstutz, MD

Dr. Donna Amstutz was recommended to me nearly 20 years ago when I urgently needed a counselor...I rarely see her now, only on an as-needed basis. Donna is very thorough, knowledgeable and gifted as a counselor. She will dig deep to identify issues going on (very thorough in her initial intake session). If you're honestly willing to work hard on whatever is going on in your life and be accountable (it's the only way the process will lead to success), Donna will be a significant benefit, asset and resource for you. One of Donna's greatest assets is she is NOT an enabler. If that's what you're looking for, you WON"T find it with her. If you try to manipulate her, she will call you out. (I am quite sure the people that have given Donna low ratings are the people that came in with an agenda, not willing to accept an alternative perspective and/or unwilling to do the hard work needed. Donna is pleasant, straight forward and skilled at appropriate tough love when needed (Yes, I… experienced her tough love once or twice.) I was/have been helped beyond measure by Donna. I highly recommend her if you need her services and willing to do the work needed to achieve successful results.

Having been in a rather long term therapeutic relationship with Dr. Amstutz, I experienced her to be professional, sensitive, knowledgeable and respectful. With her guidance, I was able to make sustainable progress toward my goals. I am very pleased.
