If zero stars were an option, Donna would get one. She dismissed severe pain and misdiagnosed a clear issue, leading to preventable complications and days of delayed care. She told me to sit on ice and take over-the-counter pain relievers for severe pain, and simply told me to take more pain medication when I said it wasn't working. She treated me for a yeast issue instead of a urinary tract infection. The prescribed cream created a secondary health problem for an issue I didn't have. A urine culture was ordered on Wednesday, but I received no proactive follow-up. I had to wait for the test results in the patient portal. Then I had to make several calls myself to finally secure a prescription from another provider on Saturday morning. Because of the multi-day delay, the infection progressed to a fever, requiring a longer two-week course of treatment. She also ordered STD and STI testing simply because I mentioned burning, without considering my actual symptoms or history.
