Dr. Doris Blondelle Takwe

I am deeply disappointed with the unprofessional behavior I experienced during my father’s appointment with Dr. Takwe on March 28. The purpose of the appointment was to complete some paperwork, but my interaction with the doctor was far from acceptable. While I was speaking with her, she unexpectedly walked out of the room while still responding to my question from the hallway, which I found both unprofessional and disrespectful. Dr. Takwe assured me that the paperwork I needed would be faxed to the point of contact by Monday, March 31. However, when I called the doctor’s office, no one answered. In an effort to resolve the matter, I drove from South Carolina to the doctor’s office, only to find out that the doctor was not at work that day. This lack of communication and the doctor’s false assurance left me both frustrated and concerned. I strongly believe that Dr. Takwe would benefit from additional training in customer service, particularly in how to interact with patients,… including the elderly. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this facility to anyone who values professionalism and quality care for their loved ones. However, if this is your only option, may the Lord be with you.
