Dr. Dorothy Bisberg, MD

I have 3 boys, and 2 of them have asthma. One of the things that I like best about Dr. Bisberg is that, though she has a busy office, I never feel like she is rushing us. She really listens to what I or my kids tell her and does not interupt or interject her thoughts. I really get the feeling that she is taking everything we say into consideration. An example: before one of my sons was diagnosed with asthma, I thought he had occasional wheezing during allergy season. I had also noticed that he had always seemed to tire more quickly then other kids, so Dr Bisberg put him through the usual tests, but his pulmonary funtion was normal. When I mentioned my concern about how he seemed to tire prematurely, Dr Bisberg did not blow it off. She had him use an inhaler and then retested him. Sure enough, he did better on the pulmonary function tests, so we knew he had some degree of asthma. His asthma has since become more pronounced as he has gotten older (this is typical) but we have been able… to recognize and treat it as needed, thanks to Dr Bisbergs excellent care
