Dr. Dottie Louise Watson, MD

After genetic blood work that was not recommended for twins came back very likely for down syndrome, we were referred to Dottie Watson. We went in for two different ultrasounds, which showed normal development for both babies. She then went onto say we needed to come back at 20 weeks for accurate diagnostics and that if needed we can choose to abort or adopt out both babies. We had better DNA bloodwork done that came back normal and we moved OBGYNs, we birthday two healthy babies with no genetic disorders. The fact that she felt the need to talk about adoption and abortion for our babies that weren't even diagnosed, and that we confirmed we would do neither is beyond me. Like most other reviews stated, bad bedside manner.

I was told after my first ultra sound that there was a 90 percent chance my child would have brain damage. I cried for a day and then decided to get another opinion. After getting an ultra sound at Albany med they told me I wasn't even fare along enough to determine how the brain was developing and everything seemed healthy so far. I gave birth to a healthy nine pound girl. She is ten years old now and excels in academics. I can't even wrap my head around why this woman would say such a frightening thing.

Very disappointed. She did not explain what she was doing during a procedure unless I asked. Even then the responses were curt and sarcastic.

Unfortunately poor bedside manner. If you can use a different doc I would recommend it, especially for first time mothers. Perfectly nice lady, just not great at explaining or delivering information.

I think she was amazing. She saved my life and my son's after a serious liver condition.

I would never go to this doctor again. She has zero bedside manor. She was horrible. She only used terms we didn't understand and never explained anything. I would never recommend her to anyone. She shouldn't be a doctor. We are first time parents and she scared us beyond belief.

I was very disappointed with dr. Watson and the twenty week scan. I was very upset leaving the appointment and had to do much research to ease my mind. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
