I have had stones over the last 25 yrs. he has helped me more than any other doctor has.

Went in for a apointment for some thing I all ready knew I had ,then told he dosent treat what I have anymore so now sends me to Modesto he or they could of sent me ther frist if he dosent Handel my ailment. sorry but this was a wast of my time. Sorry to say it but The medical profession has gone down the toilet

I have seen Dr. Ankrom for around 10 years; found him after I had been mis-diagnosed and improperly treated for several years by another doctor. My experience has always been very good with him, always professional and to the point. I can see where others may have complaints, as he may not have the most kind and empathetic bed-side manner. However, I do not go to any doctor to be comforted; I go seeking the best, most professional and most efficient recommendations, diagnosis and treatment possible, and Dr. Ankrom has always provided that to me and others that I have known and talked to about his capabilities. Dr. Ankrom is confident in his skill and training, which can come across as arrogant. However, I always look for those who are competent and confident when seeking out any professional. Dr. Ankrom has performed successful surgeries and procedures on me in the past and I have more coming up in the future. I am very happy to have found him here in Sonora, where I have had… significant problems finding competent doctors in any discipline; most of my other doctors are in the valley and I will likely continue to travel outside the county to find competent diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Ankrom is the notable exception to the low caliber / commitment of doctors we have found here in Tuolumne County. I have had excellent service and treatment from Dr. Ankrom and his entire staff.

I had the misfortune of being referred to Dr. Ankrom following an illness in the hospital. Not only did he misdiagnose my problem which caused my condition to deteriorate, he showed little empathy while he showed x-rays to my family of my "kidney cancer". Eventually, I was sent to Doctors Hospital in Modesto and Ankrom's diagnose was discovered to be completely incorrect. Needless to say, I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I got well in spite of his care.

Excellent doctor, he is intelligent and careful. I have been seeing him for 4 years.

One arrogant doctor. I have no idea how he got a good review here. After my own experience with this doctor, i found two people that this doctor hurt. For me, I waited two months for an appointment with this person, for him to cancel the day before, without an appointment for yet another several months. He only sees medical patients one day a month and the rich ones 24 days a month. He practices a sadly legal form of discrimination against the poor, and provides them with substandard care if at all. This doctor does not care about his patients, he only cares about getting a new McLarin automobile.
