Dr. Elenz addressed all my concerns and was very patient with my numerous questions. The surgery went well and my recovery time was reasonable. His staff was professional and knowledgeable. It was easy to reach his PA Linda. I was able to do my PT closer to home which was convenient. If I need another surgery I would gladly go back. I have also referred several friends who had orthopedic issues.

Dr. Ellenz has excellent bedside manner. He is very generous with his time and listens carefully. All options were very well explained. I feel very comfortable calling his office with questions or concerns.

Dr. Elenz, his assistant Linda, and my physical therapist Jimmy are all absolutely awesome! I needed surgery and was worried since I have never had any type of surgery before. They reassured me in advance and answered all my questions and concerns with a welcoming smile. The surgery was a complete success! Two years ago, I tore my right ACL playing high school lacrosse. I had plans to try to play college sports but with my injury I thought that dream was over. I talked to several doctors about my repair and my goals to return to sports. I chose to have my surgery done by Dr. Doug Elenz with Austin Sports Medicine because he took the time to get to know me and understand my needs. He and his entire staff worked to get me back on the field. Dr. Elenz answered all of my questions and saw me throughout my rehab to address any concerns. And the staff at Austin Sports Medicine from the physical therapists to the orthopedic technician that fit my knee brace was fantastic. I am happy to say I will be playing college sports next year.

I had 3rd degree separation of my right shoulder. He diagnosed and repaired it. Although the recovery was tough for me (as my nerve block wore off as soon as I woke up from surgery) now, over 5 years later, I cannot be happier with my shoulder. I would highly recommend DR. Elenz to fix your shoulder. Mine is better now than it's ever been.
