Dr. Douglas Byron Fullerton, MD

I was not happy when my previous doctor sold his practice and left Abilene. However, I decided to to stay with Dr. Fullerton to see how I like him. He seems to be a caring doctor, who listens and takes his patients' concerns seriously. My only problem, that started when his office switched to the new computer system for patient charts, is how long we sometimes must wait before we see him. The worst was when I waited 40 minutes to be called backed and then another 90 minutes for him to come into the exam room. I was considering just leaving, but didn't want to have to start over with a new appointment, or try to find a new doctor, considering all of the Medicare guidelines to which we must adhere. That was two years ago. The wait time has gotten better, although still sometimes too long. For now, I am staying with Dr. Fullerton for his medical skills.

I am satisfied with Dr. Fullerton's care as I have been his patient since he arrived and started his Abilene practice. Over time it has been quite painful to return for appointments in that each visit is strung out with longer and longer waiting times. I will soon be turning my medical care over to another physician as i will.no longer wait for up to 90 mins just to be called to an exam room and left, once again, to continue waiting for the doctor. My time is valuable too!!

Dr. Fullerton, is personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He takes his time, I never feels rushed, and he accurately identifies and resolves the issues I have come to him with. His staff are all courteous and friendly and make you feel like family rather than just a number. We are very glad we found this Doctor as well as his staff.

Great office, friendly staff, willing to go out of their way to help at anytime. Absolutely amazing doctor that is always willing to take his time and cover all your concerns. I am very grateful for my doctor

Dr. Fullerton is fine, very knowledgeable. The tall nurse is nothing but rude, no compassion or courtesy. The reception area is non-existent and makes you uncomfortable waiting.
