I was a former patient and he always seemed genuinely concerned when I went to treat HBP and then began having TIA's so Plavix was what he kept insisting I continue dispite my describing my bad reaction and fast decline in health eventually(many months and tias) I was referred to UCSF for MRI's I had to drive myself in the middle of the night and when my test result came in the whole staff came out to look at me because they couldent believe I drove all that way in my condition. Exiting every bathroom stop due to my kidney failure. They insisted I cant drive home tonite and I should be admitted. Well after at least 30-40 TIA's which each time cause me to be blind for several days, or sometimes I couldent speak for a week. sometimes half paralyzed for days, The Dr still said I need to take it for the rest of my life. If I did not stop I am sure I would not have survived. I had a miraculous recovery with minor brain damage, but definatly damaged, dispite each TIA was exactly the… same as a stroke, and I never went back to Dr. Garrison but tried to, and was also told he was out for medical reasons and his brother took over but none of my records were available which I wanted to review. It really turned me against modern medicine and for many years avoided medications which keep me alive. I felt this experience might save someone who might not want to question authority. I am alive because I do.

I was a patient for 6 years and he put me on a med that made me gain 70 pounds then disappeared and his brother took over. Would not recommend this practice to anyone
