Dr. Douglas William Halliday, MD

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I have not been to Dr. Halliday’s office in over four years, yet they are trying to bill me $699 for services allegedly provided in December 2024 — which is impossible. Since January, I’ve called repeatedly to fix this. Each time, I was told someone would "email the office" or "look into it," but no one followed up. When I finally got through to the office, I was met with rudeness and told their office manager was "very busy" and the receptionist was not sure when she could get back to me to correct this because she was "very busy managing an entire office." Needless to say, this extremely busy office manager never called me back. Now, months later, I receive another bill and letter demanding payment. The disorganization, sloppy record-keeping, and disregard for patient concerns are shocking. I expect a direct call from the office manager and a formal letter confirming the error has been corrected. Future patients: beware — if they can’t even… manage basic billing, what does that say about the rest of their operations?

I just recently had a sliver-cut neck procedure. I told him what I wanted and got nothing that I asked for. My neck is still wrinkled and crepey. I am quite devastated. I paid $2500.00 that I saved over a year. I called and wanted my money back. They told me no and hung up on me. Buyer Beware!!!!

I had chin reduction surgery years ago. I experienced allot of uncomfortable pain like he chopped off portions of my nerves connecting with all my bottom teeth. Then I had to keep going back where he injected my chin with shots of steroids which literally made me scream! After being sent home the recovery was extremely uncomfortable "for years" always a nagging irritation at one certain point under my chin at end right side of scar. The scar is terrible looking. To this day I cannot stop poking that end part of my scar it has hurt and caused such pain in my teeth that I had to have teeth removed. My chin will forever ache and irritate me. I don't know what he did but I really don't think he really knew what he was doing. His "operating room" looked like just another random office setting with a table... now that I think back about it.. What was I thinking??! I don't think this was professionally done and I am regretting my decision. It was voluntary and I should have researched… more Drs. I don't think a Dr. Should wing random surgeries that he's never done before when he specializes in something totally different. I was excited to have a new face shape and I'm regretting it every day it bothers me. Wish I had the money back I spent on that surgery! Listen ... Try to love yourself exactly the same way God made you! Stop making these Drs richer by making YOU into someone else!! When you mess with God's creation your gonna end up more unhappy than you thought you were before! It's never worth it! YOU "are" perfect!! God don't make mistakes!

I cant even get into the mess Dr. Halliday had created with me. All he cares about is money. I'd rather have a 12 year perform surgery on me, then him. The office is a big mess. Unorganized, fighting in front of patients. I was even put into a office and made to watch a video while surrounded by patient files stacked all over the place right next to my chair. I could have easily started reading some of them, when they left me in there for an extra 20 minutes after the video stopped.

Dr Halliday is always kind and patient with me during my aesthetic visits. I trust him for my injections of Botox and Fillers and have always been happy with my results. His staff, especially the manager Mary is also friendly and professional. Would recommend to others.

I have been going to Dr. Halliday for several years for VERY serious sinus infections and related problems. I find him to be extremely patient, knowledgeable and empathetic and an excellent listener. After some surgery, allergy drop treatment and following Dr. Halliday's carefully communicated allergy avoidance advice, I have not had a sinus infection for the last 2 years and have very little (10%) of the allergy symptoms compared to what I had experienced for literally 20+ years. This, after seeing at least 3 other doctors whose treatments did very little for my allergies and absolutely nothing to curb my every other month sinus infections. This is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! After gaining tremendous confidence in Dr. Halliday for my sinus problems I discussed some cosmetic (aging issues) with him. I found him again to be a GREAT listener, extremely knowledgeable, and absolutely NO pressure to make a quick decision. I decided to have a Natural Lift and the results were absolutely… great! I have recommended Dr. Halliday to many of my friends AND my 3 daughters for allergy related problems. His staff has also been terrific.

Poor Quality of Service

Dr. Halliday gave me sinus surgery, I had a nice nose when I went in. After, my nose now is wide and nostrils are different sizes. My nose still constantly runs.

As much as I have put off doing this review, I feel if I can save at least one woman money and frustration it would be worth the effort. I am sure Dr. Halliday and office have no bad motives with their practice. Their marketing setup is stellar. They are good sales people. But when you are in business that deals with people's looks - a big part of it is sitting down and making sure they are comfortable with the healing process - post-opt isn't it. Whatever overall rating means - ease of appt., promptness and staff get high marks - the rest not so good. As someone in their 60's who has been told for years how young she looks, I decided my eyes were too tired looking with the circles and I would like them freshened up as I recently lost my job. I was told the job market would have many young people and this would help with my gaining employment again. Well it's been almost 2 years and no I am not employed with the distinction I had prior. No I'm not holding them to that but I… sure look tired as I started. I was told just before surgery he didn't realize how much skin I had and might need to do work on this again. Right there surgery should have been canceled or changed. Having been told it would be about 3-4 months out for healing, I didn't jump off the gurney. More than a year later doctors told me they could not touch my eyes as they were still healing. Unfortunately I learned too late the C02 laser was not the way to go and it would be over a year to operate again. I didn't have this much time holding myself down healing. I couldn't believe this. Any comments from Dr. Halliday were more surgery down the road, eyebrow lift after I already had my upper eyes done, botox (which when he injected caused an allergic reaction in my eyes), insults that I was trying to be a younger woman. Whoa. First of all no one was supposed to know this was done except a couple close friends. As it was, I went to Small Claims which he was prepared and I wasn't. Sincerity and honesty do not work - remember letters from doctors and pictures - bring them. His using a close up of my eyes is false as I have beautiful pictures of myself the week before that don't show the enormous bags under my eyes the judge bought into. It's a close- up!!!! Bottom line when it comes to your eyes - I encourage you as my eye doctor had - only eye plastic surgeons. Please take this seriously and good luck! P.S. Any rebuttal from this is pretty sad as I contacted their office so many times. He used in court that I told them I was actually laying down without elevation which was false after surgery and wasn't icing enough. I read and reread my instructions and contacted the office as needed asking questions or to be seen. Thank God I went in with the Aquaver complaint as over the phone they kept saying it was normal - on site - it was "OMG stop using it you're having an allergic reaction."

I have been seeing Dr Halliday for 27 yrs now for allergies and have had several surgeries. I will continue to receive my injections and I have also sent several of my friends and family/ children to him for sinus help. He and his staff are awesome to work with.
