Dr. Douglas John Hay, MD

First let me say I don't stay w/Docs that aren't attentive - I fire them quickly. Dr. Hay saved my life. He pushed me for a mammogram, and called a month later because I had not scheduled it. Then had to push me for an ultra sound, because I thought it was just an old cyst. A biopsy later he personally called me and kindly found me a surgeon as I had to quickly have a double mastectomy. He has been kind and attentive since the 1st visit. However, I do find Beaver/the facility to be an issue which causes issues for the doctors and ultimately serving us.

Choose this doctor what a mistake, worst choice ever. Beaver has declined to a point I worry about them causing serious harm or death. This doctor seems concerned and nice but doens't listen. His nurse will lie to you, she says she calls in a perscription when she never does. A couple of times blamed the phamacy and I was at the pharmacy when she said she had sent it, she just lied. Doctor didn't care. Can't seem to leave, Beaver won't do anything.

I am covered by Beaver Medical Group and was assigned to Dr. Hay as my primary care doctor. At the present time I am doing all I can to change either my primary care doctor or my insurance coverage. This doctor is unavailable and unconcerned with my health concerns.
