Pleasant, kind, thoughtful, not rushed and appropriately communicative. Office got me in promptly for an acute problem and generally was kind and efficient. I do wish the referral for PT had been printed and given to me real time as it is causing a delay in setting up an initial intake appointment, which is unfortunate especially given that a referral is not really necessary for at least initial care since one can go to PT without a referral in this state. But that is minor and meant as feedback to the office not as a critique to Dr Lurie

Dr. Lurie is Awesome! He's Always very thorough, he listens well & the most compassionate Dr. I've ever had. His Nurse Tory is also awesome; she shares all of his qualities.

Dr. Lurie and his staff are the epitome of professionalism. Like a well oiled machine. I’d highly recommend orthopedic associates of New Orleans.

Dr. Lurie is the 2nd doctor that I visited for the same issue. Dr Lurie is the one who got it right! I am no longer bent over in pain. I am walking around like my normal self! I am so thankful to Dr. Lurie and his staff for helping me to resume my life as it was before I hurt my back. I would recommend Dr. Lurie to anyone with back pain. He knows his stuff! =0)

he will lie about something that he told you. like "you don't have to come back." when i told him he was late for an appointment right after my first surgery. he later denied that he said that. what gut's????

HE WAS RECOMMENDED AT MOREAU PHYSICAL THERAPY. I SHOULDN'T HAVE USED HIM.

LAURIE DID TWO TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENTS TO MY LEFT KNEE LAST YEAR. THE FIRST SURGERY CAUSED TWO RARE INFECTIONS AND ALSO A RARE FUNGUS. I HAD TO TAKE MEDICINE WHICH CAUSED A 50 POUND WEIGH LOSS, I AM NOW WITH A SECOND KNEE AND HAVE PAIN, STIFFNESS AND MUCH DISCOMFORT. WHEN HE WAS LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT I TOLD HIM THAT I DID NOT LIKE HAVING TO WAIT FOR SO LONG, HE SAID" YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK". WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR WOULD SAY SOMETHING SO NEGATIVE. I NEVER WENT BACKTO SEE HIM BUT WAS TOLD AT THE V.A. THAT HE WOULD BE THE ONLY ONE TO DO THE SECOND KNEE REPLACEMENT. AFTER ALL THIS, I AM LEFT WITH A HANDICAP.

After breaking my wrist, Dr. Lurie was everything I could want in an orthopedic surgeon - caring, friendly, measured, calm, knowledgeable, and skilled. I highly recommend him.
