This office will not return calls for a referral.. poor service

Staff does not return phone calls. Does not provide notice of lab results. No follow-up. Very slow to provide referral appointments. Absolutely no sense of urgency.

So I have been going to dr. Pennington for a few years. The office isnt bad and I never waited long for an appointment how ever after I had a cervical procedure I called with a concern which they completely blew off. Then when I expressed concerns about taking a medication for mental health I was again ignored I have worked in a mental health facility for over a year so im not ignorant to the medications and their effects on people. The final problem was when I called asking for a couple month extension on my birth control pill till I could get my health insurance renewed but apparently missing an appointment by a month is reason for them to not extend the most commonly prescribed pill that I've been taking for a year. they would rather their patients run the risk of getting pregnant and messing with their hormone levels just to push me back into their office. I was rudely told over the phone that condemns would be my only option for me and my husband of 4 years. Sometimes patient… care should mean actually caring for the patient . Im tired of being ignored over and over again I will be finding a new doctor.

Dr. Pennington is very compassionate, takes the time to listen he always addresses the problem and he knows his stuff most test he's ordered something was found I can't say enough good things about him!! I truely believe he really cares about his patients and I wouldn't go to anyone else else..I trust him with my life!

Great doctor, absolutely horrible office staff.

I do not have a problem with the doctor his staff never calls you back I waited 4 weeks to get a referral and I have been waiting 3 days now about a perscription the doctor ordered that I can't afford asked his assistant to please see if the doctoc could come up with a less expensive one still waiting to here from her I have called evere day for the past three days and since it is a main medication that I need if I wind up going into a coma from her not responding to my phone call guess whats goin to happen

He is the best doctor I have been to in my 70 years. He is kind, cares about yoou and helps you anyway possible. He is always right and knows what he is doing and where to send you. I would never go to another doctor after meeting him.

Dr. Pennington really cares about me and my family. He knows my husband and kids by names (they are also his patients) and he is very knowledgable about the tried and true and the up and coming treatments. My husband and I are both nurses and we know his skills are unquestionable, his bedside manner is terrific, and his knowledge base is great. He even tells us when he doesn't know something and directs us to a specialist when necessary. There isn't much he can't do for us, we feel fortunate to have found him.

I have been going to Dr. Pennington for a very long time. He knows his job, makes you feel very comfortable, and takes time with you to answer any questions you may have. I am very glad I found him to be my primary doctor!
