There should be an option for zero stars! Rude and condescending and dismissive to parent’s concerns.

He is aggressive and demeaning to children, especially those of color. Made rude comments and because I didn't remember who I saw last year, asked if I didn't remember the "black girl". He is very inappropriate and should not be working with children at all.

This was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. He kept asking one question over and over in an attempt to "Mom Shame" me and the answer was always the same. Then he was upset with me for how the staff scheduled my appointment. I asked him how was that my fault...he told me it wasn't but still had a bad attitude. The office staff met with me after the visit because they overheard how he was speaking to me and apologized for his behavior. I will never go back to him.

If you want the best for your child this is not it!! Should be some other type of business! Non-caring, rude staff and poor child care. If all you want is for your child to get anything routine like a vaccination or a check up fine but if your child is sick stay away he cares ZERO!!

Let me just start by saying the lady in the front desk is unlike any other I have ever met!! Rude, unprofessional, heartless and an attitude and a half!!! The doctor is not caring at all. when he gives your child a shot he isn't gentle, doesn't talk to the child to clam him/her down. He's very aggressive and says " ehhh she'll be ok" . One day we were waiting for our appointment and there was a girls crying out from the pain of an ear infection, I suggested they should go in front of others since it seems it an emergency, the doctor came out and told the girl and her parents " hey, hey keep it down you are scaring my patients" ?????? she is in pain!!! She can't help it a-hole. Do Not take your child here if you really love them!

I used to bring my kids to him and decided to take them away from this doctor. Bad experience starts with his rude secretary who thinks she knows everything and gets offensive when you requested informations from them. Then you go in to see the doctor and everything gets miserable from there. You could feel the negativity in their aura. You can feel the miserable life they are having and that is how they spread it to others. He is a good doctor but I do not want my kids around him. I do not know and do not care about his personal life but being miserable affects everything. Look on his facebook. All his young girlfriends around him from the carribean, it tells you a lot. Scary to be a around with kids and prying young girls all over. Unprofessional and disgusting. He should go back to the carribean and open a brothel instead of being a doctor. CHEAP!!!

Dr. Savino has been my son's pediatrician since he was born. That was 16 years ago. Even after I relocated to Staten Island, I would not think of going to anyone else. He has gone above and beyond year after year. He's to the point, honest, and tells you like it is. And by the way, my son has never been on a prescription antibiotic for anything. Very hard to find a doctor today who doesn't resort to the "quick-fix". By far, the best.
