This nice fellow really helped me.i was in a really bad way with my right knee.he has a heart of gold.when other surgeons refused me because of my age he took me on and did a great job.i feel so much better now. Thank you Dr.tice!! You know me. H.D/ AND YOUR THE BEST!!!! 5 STARS FOR THIS GUY!

Dr. Tice did my hip revision surgery about 5 years ago. Not only is he phenominal surgeon, he employs a really helpful & nice staff for his office! I actually just looked him up on-line because he is no longer in Cumberland, Maryland & now, neither am I. That & an unrelated new injury made me think about him, so this is why my review is all these years later. He even took me on again after my shattered elbow surgery for my follow up care. For some reason WMHS tranferred me to WVU when it occured as a result of falling off a long board (skate board). Dr. Tice is a very dedicated & knowledgable surgeon! He is upbeat, optimistic & takes time to really get to know you as a person on top of a patient! He is so nice, warm, caring & empathetic! I could go on & on about how wonderful he truly is! I will think highly & fondly of him always!

I am an experienced Nurse that had the misfortune of becoming his patient! His skill as a surgeon and his bedside manor lacks! He missed fractures in my right right arm, costing me the loss of my joint space and the need for a complete fusion of the joint and with my being right handed great difficultly in practice of my true love of Nursing. Be careful of the surgeons that you allow to operate on you.

Dr Tice performed a total hip on mother and she had a very good result. She is was out of the hospital in a couple of days and was able to get back to a better quality of life.

My son was referred to Dr. Tice by our local Emergency Room after my son had a football injury to his knee. When I called to set up the follow up I was placed on hold why the receptionist "pulled my sons chart"!! After a few minute hold she came back to the phone and told me that Dr. Tice would not see my son and that he would need to go back to his general practitioner. I asked why would the ER refer my son to you if you think he doesn't need seen and her response was "that's what City Hospital does". Sad to say the county I live in can't meet my sons medical needs.
