Don’t use Dr Unis for a hip replacement if you’re young and active. He ruined me. Second hip was done correctly by a competent hip specialist, with Full range of movement. Dr Unis put the wrong sized ball in and he placed it incorrectly. All the physical therapists confirm it, looking at the x rays! I’m reminded of this butchery every single day of my life/hip feels foreign and heavy. Just awful

Doctor is not polite, patient and courteous, while his nurse desperately trying to smooth out his disrespect to the patient. During the time of meeting with me acted as he was extremely bored and showed openly his desire to leave the examination room as soon as he can. Cortisone shot he made worked 8 days. He suggests to come in 3 months for next shot. Think twice...

The care I received from Dr Unis was completely cavalier. I went to him with extreme knee pain and after an x-ray and MRI he determined that nothing was broken or torn. He gave me a cortisone shot that he said might last a week or a month, but other than that, because of my age, (I'm 56) he said that I should learn to live with my pain. I believe this kind of medical care is negligent, and I recommend avoiding this doctor.

I would recommend anyone NOT to use Dr. Unis. He is sarcastic, nasty, unprofessional and very cocky. Doesn't really care about his patients. He won't admit when something is wrong and tries to make everything out like it is nothing. I wonder how he would feel if this happened to his family or his body! Do not use him! Believe me.

Very unprofessional, I went there to get an X-ray and a consultation. Prior to my appointment they didn't advise me of not wearing pants with a zipper, and expected me to walk around the practice with shorts. Once he came to the room after x-ray was taken he literally left me in the room by myself, and went to discuss my case with his staff. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I will not recommend him, and I will never see him again. The only solution he gave me was surgery, and nothing else. And advised I should take advil or tylenol for the pain, he didn't even prescribe it simply over the counter. He is the worst.

I had congenital hip dysplasia which had been operated on as a small child, but was now extremely painful, after 50+ years. My knee on the same side was also ruined by nummerous falls. Dr. Unis first replaced the knee and did such a good job I had him replace my hip on the same side 6 months later. My life has literally been transformed - no pain, the length difference of my legs has been reduced and little kids no longer stare at me! Dr. Unis is first-rate and I highly recommend him. Just wish he did shoulders as well.

I came to see Dr Unis for a problem in both my knees. I had his PA check me and send me for X-rays. Dr. Unis came for a minute just to tell me his diagnosis. He was out of Dr. Unis does not care about his patients. I am sure he performs hip surgeries well, however he is completely emotionless. If you go to see a dr. You will not get him instead you will see his PA. if you have pain he does not know how to treat your pain, nor does he care. You are not treated like a patient. You are part of a machine that Dr Unis is the operator. No emotion, no competition and the worst disability to diagnosis your problem. You will be lucky to even see the Dr. Usually you will be checked only by his PA. The worst Dr experience I ever had. Sent from my phone

When I had continuous pain after an anterior hip replacement, Dr Unis dismissed it and thought it might be bursitis. Turned out I had an infection and needed two more operations. When things go well, the doctor is charming. When there’s a problem, I had to go elsewhere.

i HAD A TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT NINE MONTHS AGO BY DR. UNIS. SOMETHING I HAD FEARED AND PUT OFF UNTIL I WAS ALMOST CRIPPLED . DR UNIS GAVE ME A NEW LIFE, I HAVE NO PAIN AT ALL, FORGET THAT I WAS EVER TROUBLED AND HE HAPPENS TOO BE AS KIND AND CARING AS HE IS HANDSOME.
