After cataract surgery, my vision didn't improve as expected. Third or fourth post op appointment I was told I had a film but not to worry and come in at my convenience to have it removed. I waited until about 2 weeks later when I began having blurriness, headaches and nausea. I made an appointment to have the film removed because I thought the film was getting severe. I knew nothing about a detached retina. First available appointment was 1 week. I went to my appointment at which time I was informed that I had a completely detached retina and tears in the macula. I could see nothing at this point. I went to my car and cried! Worst experience of my life. I have had 2 surgeries and still one left to go. As of today I am legally blind in my right eye with no remedy available. If only I hadn't had the cataract surgery I believe things would be fine. Thanks Dr. Williams.
