Don’t waste your time with this practice. I did and regret ever stepping into this office. Gives you a good song and dance then refers you to another doctor. Very unprofessional!

I recently had an accident while walking in the neighborhood, falling flat on my face which resulted in multiple bruises, lacerations, and scrapes to my face, nose, and knees including a 1" gash below my lower lash line of my right eye. Upon evaluation by paramedics and ER staff, was given three choices: 1) Leave gash as is and allow it to heal naturally likely resulting in a large scar and possible infection, 2) Have ER staff attempt to suture gash, or 3) Follow up early next day with an oculoplastic surgeon to have them assess wound and perform sutures; I opted for the 3rd choice. My ophthalmologist highly recommended Dr. McLachlan. I called first thing in the morning as soon as the office opened and explained my emergency situation to the staff. They immediately discussed it with Dr. McLachlan who agreed to fit me into their already busy schedule later that morning. They evaluated my vision and ocular pressure and followed up with the placement of 7 stitches. I was promptly… scheduled for a visit the next day to assess the stitches and make any adjustments (as I was still rather swollen from the incident) as well as a follow up visit a week later for stitch removal. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. McLachlan and his entire staff! They were very professional, friendly, kind, and compassionate. He did a great job on the stitches; you can hardly tell where they are and permanent scarring will be minimal if any at all. He is a true professional who not only has impeccable skill but an outstanding bedside manner to match; attributes not easily found in today’s medical industry. I can't say enough good things about this physician and his practice and would highly recommend them!

I Really like the service Dr McLachlan, gives my mother, he has a great bedside manor, and cares about his patience,he has seen my mother for years, and we will continue to see him.

I was fine with him, seems like maybe burnt out & retirement may be near? My spouse didn't care for him at all. Felt very out of the loop during the surgery date & unfortunately he followed a different Dr with my mother & cataract surgery, so we had another Dr to compare to. Dr M did an upper lift & lower pad removal. Definitely see a difference in upper, no difference in lower & feel lower was a waste of money. Staff not very friendly & made me feel like we were a bother. No one ever called to follow up on surgery. Again, compared to Dr Ahn, a big disappointment in regards to beside manner, follow up & staff friendliness. Still waiting for insurance company to pay bill, they are waiting for info from Dr M office.

Dr. McLachlan was recommended to me because I had to have a bump that was adjacent to a tear duct surgically removed, and he is an eye plastic surgeon. He was sensitive to my stress regarding surgery close to my eye and helped me to stay calm. I had no problems or infection and healing completely. My experience was quite positive. I am surprised by the negative reviews.

Dr Mc Lachlan changed my life by providing me with the best possible surgery to improve the appearance of my left eye. I went from wearing a patch to cover the disfigurement to not being able to determine the good eye from the bad eye. In addition, the restoration of my ability to smell (lost for 20 years) was also attributed to Dr Mc Lachlan.

He talked a good game, so i let him do my eye lid surgery. Had issues with surgery, he chastised me for paging him over the weekend. Overall surgery was unsuccessfull. I ended up at a different surgeon, whotold me the surgery was done incorrectly. I looked into malpractice suit, but unfortunately the cost outweighed the possible reward. Not to mention hour long waits past scheduled appts. Run away as fast as you can from this DR.
