Dr. Douglas Ray Wilson, MD

I called to make an appointment based on the ratings and reviews. Front office was nice, the girl who took us back never even asked why we were there. Since this office not only perscribes glasses but handles eye surgeries and eye disease I thought this would not be an assumption on their part. I tried to explain what was going on but her only focus was to set the room up for an eye exam. Then the doctor walked in with the same assumption as the assistant that checked us in. I finally had to stop him and tell him we were not there for an eye exam but for an eye problem. I was never so un-impressed with a doctor, staff and his office. And at the end I asked them to write down the Rx for his glasses and the doctor had written it down wrong on the chart.

Our family has been with Dr. Wilson now for nearly 15 years and we can't say enough nice things about him and his staff! Growing up with a genetic defect of the optic nerve I have always been encouraged to see an ophthalmologist for all of my eye care. So happy to have found Dr. Wilson when we moved to the midwest 15 years ago!

Perfection

I left his office angry and upset with the overall experience. He was in the room less than 5 minutes and did not actually do an exam, but I sure was charged for one...
