This Dr. was a horrible experience for me. According to my oncologist he removed WAY more breast tissue than necessary. On one side tho he almost didn't remove enough! I wanted a lumpectomy he took out 1/4 of my size D breast for a 2cm tumor. He cut a major branch of my intercostal artery and then didn't bother to tie it off well enough. He didn't document this nor did did he pass on this information to post op. I went home and hemorrhaged. I went from a hemoglobin of over 15 down to a 7 this was after my first unit of blood. The Dr. who came in and did emergency surgery said he had never seen anything like it in his life,he said the blood squirted across the OR and hit the wall. My chest wall was black when he closed me up and was not sure it would pink back up. I have not found a Dr. to reconstruct my breast. The circulation has been compromised. I went with this Dr. because he could get me in the soonest. That should have been a clue. What a horrible experience.
