Dr. Bernard Edward Yanke, DO

I believe he has now retired but this was the absolute best doctor and Ob. This is a no nonsense doctor that will find out what is wrong when no one else does. He is a funnier version of “House”. I can see how some didn’t understand his personality but if you do, you realize you have the best of the best! He wouldn’t let you worry about needless troubles during pregnancy and yes shut intrusive thoughts down. Stress is a huge issue and can lead to complications. I needed that kind of doctor and knowing I had a doctor that would shut down and sort out problems before they began was such a huge relief and we need more Doctors like this. Ones that instantly know from experience the issue and don’t need to check their text books, ones that have seen the issue enough times to know that it’s not what Dr.Google says but something far simpler. Although he is retired I felt the need to defend Dr. Yanke because he went above and beyond for me for all 3 of my kids. I wish I could find a doctor… like him for family practice but they don’t exist.

He's a great Dr. Would & have recommended him to lots of people. I was unervous about having a man Dr. but he was great. Very comforting & nice, he put my fears to rest. He delivered my 2 happy healthy babies 30 yrs ago & would go to him again if I was able to have more(old age). He's a very caring doctor & he listens.

This man oversaw my wife's pregnancy that resulted in a miscarraige he didn't check his notes upon us entering the room for a check up post loss and asked us how our baby was after we lost him

I have had this doctor through 3 pregnancies and other things that may come up in between... he will laugh with you, cry with you and be totally honest with you when another doctor may sugar coat an answer so they don’t get in trouble. He is a doctor I trust to find a solution because he knows his stuff and will tell you straight up what he thinks about a situation so your not waiting a week worrying for test results to come back or living on Dr. Google. He took 10 min to go in depth about exact details on a precedes and what to expect. He makes sure his patients are comfortable and are not in pain. He is there for YOU as much as he is that baby you may have growing of you. I could go on and on about what a great doctor he is but you will know after you have had a few appointments with him or encountered something stressful health wise. I also noticed he won top doctor for 2019.

At 19weeks pregnant I decided to switch OB. Dr.Yankee was refer to me by a relative. I can't thank him enough ! he knew exactly how to treat my early contractions. I will definitely go back!!!

I am a patient of one of the lady Doctors who he practices with. Sweetest lady I have ever met. Was pretty nervous when I found out my Dr. was unavailable and I would need to see Dr. Yanke. So, here's the thing, he's blunt. If you're asking a stupid question...you're going to find out its a stupid question. If you need to lose weight or have gained too much during pregnancy...he's not going to candy coat it for you. However, what you want in a Doctor is someone who is 100% vested in the best care of his patients. His bedside manner? Not the best. But I would whole heartedly trust him as my Doctor. P.S. If you call him after hours and he's on call...you better have a GOOD reason. He will be shamelessly rude if you don't.

Dr. Edward Yanke delivered my son. I will NEVER go to another gyno but him!! His entire office staff treated us like FAMILY while we were in their care! Dr. Yanke was so wonderful to me and my husband, we actually wished we could come in more often just be around the guy! Dr. Yanke treated us as if we were his own children. We love Ed Yanke and will continue driving over an hour to be in his care!
