Dr. Kirsten Brigitte Eberhardt

I chose Dr. Eberhardt via the internet in 2006. I was pleased when she turned out to be upbeat and pleasant, although was very rushed in visits. I was informed 3 days before my delivery that she had multiple babies all due that week. When in labor at the hospital she checked on me early on and was tired, informing us she had been up all night with another delivery. She said she had a meeting and would be back. I'd been pushing over an hour when she came back. Babies heart rate had dropped once. Dr. Eberhardt seemed lathargic. EXTREMELY tired. She sat in a swivel chair and watched, saying absolutely nothing. In the last hour I was given a huge episiotomy and she was using a vacuum to extract him. The vacuum popped off many times and everyone in the room had blood all over them. The intern in the room was hysterical. After pulling on the baby for so long he was finally born with congenital chylothorax. His thoractic duct had been torn. He was flown by life flight to Spokane where he… stayed in the NICU for thirty days. We were told he wasn't going to make it. In a miracle, he healed himself. All together I pushed for 2 & 1/2 hours and most of the time Doctor Eberhardt sat, silent and extremely tired in a swivel chair. My episiotomy was stiched up by her and in my post check up, she informed me I'd been stitched up too tight. I had to go to therapy and do vitamin E rubs to not have the pinching sensation all the time. The IUD she inserted got lodged in my uterine wall.
