Dr. Abdalmajid Katranji, MD

I went to Dr. Katranji after i was diagnosed with traumatic arthritis following an accident. He really helped me understand my condition and treatment options and now i have almost full functionality. Thanks to Dr. Katranji. The only thing i would complain about is the wait time. But that’s no big deal when he is the the busiest and the most skilled surgeon in Michigan.

Dr. Katranji treated my hand and wrist following a motor vehicle accident and now i have full range of motion in my hand. Very thankful to Dr. K .

Had a terrible 1st appointment. Will never go back. Never saw the doc, was there for 2 hrs and 45 mins, wanted us to come back 4 days later for an office visit, had to pay $250 for the appointment.

He is not a "hand specialist" like he claims. He is a general surgeon. He did not treat my sons wrist/hand properly and my son needed major reconstructive surgery to fix Katranju's mistake. His wrist/hand will never be the seem or have full range because of his lack of knowledge and treatment. DO NOT GO TO HIM. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Do NOT trust this guy to take care of your hands. Run.

First of all, Katranji Hand Center is very deceiving, Doctor Katranji is not an Orthopedic Surgeon. He is a general surgeon, and should work accordingly. I broke my wrist, waited 12 days for surgery, first visit to his office my husband and I waited 2 hours. He botched up my hand and wrist so badly, it was useless, and painful for months, which also caused back issues since my wrist and hand ended up on an awkward angle. I just recently had another surgery as of yesterday, and I already have more movement in my fingers than I did the day before. I have never in my entire life written a review, good or bad, this I felt was extremely important. People take heed.......

He can be charming but his technique is poor. His outcomes of surgeries are below those of other hand surgeons in the area. Office will never call you back. Turnover seems to be so high in the office. Save yourself time and money and find another doctor.

Dr Katranji is terrible. If you search his credential he is not a board certified hand surgeon or orthopedic surgeon he is a general surgeon. He botched my hand up and I gave him second chance and what a mistake that was. His office staff is also rude and under trained. Dont make same mistake I did, choose another Dr., do your homework if you want full use of hand again!

one doctor wanted to amputate dr k saved it heck of a job straight shooter up front with you he said you will not have 100 percent but i still have it and it works and looks good compared to the alternative thank you dr k

I have had Dr. K do 2 surgeries on my hand and would not go to anyone else. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable and his staff is very professional. His office is so open and airy. Very comfortable. Great doctor.
