Dr. Adam Matthew Buerk, DO

Dr. Buerk is fantastic. He is a great communicator and has a very positive bedside manner. He performed, knee surgery, after a fall. He has provided caring and frequent follow up appointments for the 9 weeks following surgery. I’m very pleased with his overall care.

Dr Buerk seen me for my left knee and when i came in for my knee follow up and injection he seen I had braces on my wrists and asked me about it even though he wasn't even seeing me for that. I told him what the hand surgeon from geisinger said about wear a brace and make modifications in my daily routine and to loose weight - knowing my emg was severe carpal tunnel and I had Total numbness in all fingers but the pinky finger. Dr Buerk came in and looked at my emg results and did an assessment himself and he got me scheduled for the release within a month of that visit. He doesn't treat you like another number. He treats the whole picture not just a little section of the picture.

I’m so disappointed that Dr Buerk will no longer be at Newport UPMC it was so close for me and the vicinity to be able to have a dependable great Dr to take care of our needs here in Newport. Please reconsider

I've been going to Dr. Buerk for years he is absolutely amazing he's only doctor that I will see from my knees. I'm very young I'm only 40 and I need double knee replacements and he has worked with me through figuring out which kind of shots to use and how to make the horrible knees last longer so I don't have to get this surgery this young in life. So I praise him He is wonderful and so is his staff they are absolutely fantastic. And ask for OIP I never have to wait long they always get me in and out of the waiting room in x-ray the hall staff is amazing and check out it's always a wonderful experience. So if anybody ever has any problems at all OIP is the place to be they have wonderful locations you can choose any of them to go to and you'll be in great hands.

I actually look forward to my visits with Dr. Buerk. He is always on time and glad to answer any and all questions that you may have for him. Dr. Buerk has a wonderful personality and puts you at ease. I got to know him through my husband. He was the surgeon who replaced my husband's knee and hip. I was going to another doctor at the same practice. Once I saw Dr. Buerk in action I switched providers. I've never looked back. I've recommended him to several friends and they are more than pleased with their care by Dr. Buerk. I highly recommend Dr. Buerk for your orthopedic needs.
