Dr. Adam Michael Caputo, MD

Dr Caputo performed L4-L5 spinal Fusion on me 4 months ago. I had severe sciatica and low back pain. The sciatica was completely gone when I woke up from surgery. I do still low back pain but I can stand and walk longer than before..I continue to heal for up to a year so we are hopeful that this will continue to improve. This is exactly what he told me that I could expect from the surgery. He did not promise me all the pain would go away but that i could expect considerable improvement. Dr Caputo is very patient, doesn't rush you, explains things very well, goes over the pros/cons with you, and was very pleased when I pulled out several sheets of paper with questions regarding the surgery on them. He also has the best personality and bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met and I am a nurse! I will definitely use him for any other back issues that I might or my family might have in the future The office staff and other clinical staff have also been spectacular . I would… recommend Dr Caputo to anyone having spine issues.

Dr. Caputo and Physician Assistant Derek gave me a thorough, complete exam and an even more thorough and complete explanation of my condition. They then explained the four options for treatment and recommended a 12-day steroid course. Since completion (approximately 3 weeks ago) my pain and numbness are essentially gone. Dr. Caputo also made me feel like I was part of his medical family and I could count on him as always being there for me. I remain absolutely delighted with my interactions with Dr. Caputo.

Dr. Caputo and his staff were professional, thorough and caring as they gave me details about my condition. I was given the opportunity to be part of the next steps in my health care. It was very insightful because Dr. Caputo and his assistant made sure that I understood his findings. It was a great “first visit” to a new doctor!

I have had back pain and limited physical activities since 1995. Dr. Caputo operated on me Sept. 20 2021 and I have been a new person. I am now pain free. Dr. Caputo is very personable and listens to what you have to say. His support staff are all very efficient. I highly recommend him.

I chose Dr. Caputo because of his outstanding education and reputation credentials. From the first visit my experiences with Dr. Caputo and his staff have been phenomenal. He never once seemed in a hurry to move onto his next patient during any visit and took time to thoroughly explain the treatment options. I had a ruptured disc (L5/S1) and a bulging disc (L4/L5). I chose the surgical option. There was a flow of communication from his office leading up to surgery and Dr. Caputo met with me in pre-op. He was reassuring, calm, and confident. Other medical staff I know from surgery told me Dr. Caputo was very deliberate, methodical, and was a perfectionist. When I woke up I was pain free. There is no other doctor I would consider for spine surgery than Dr. Caputo.
