Dr. Albert Joseph Marano, MD

Dr. Marano is a doctor who has compassion and empathy for his patients. It was my first visit and a person announced my name to take me in to the room. I was floored when I asked his name and he told me he was Dr. Marano. I’ve been to many doctors and no doctor has ever come out to personally show me into an examination room. From the beginning of the visit to the end I felt at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Marano and would give him ten stars if I could. Also I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Dr. Marano is by far one of the best Dr I have ever seen. He has a wonderful bedside manner and treated my 90 year old grandmother as if she was his own. Which in turn prompted me to change Dr. and go to him. I'm not sure how he is a 3.8 He is well beyond a 5 star in my book.

Dr. Marano is a great doctor. He really is concerned about my illness, and is not afraid to suggest second, or even third opinions. He doesn't ''push'' anything, is easy to talk with, and explains pro and cons using easy to understand language. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Marano; it would help patients feel more confident that they are being treated like family, and are getting the BEST care. 5 STAR doctor.

Dr Marano is extremely dedicated to his profession. I have been seeing him for tremors bc I was afraid it was Parkinson’s. Set me for tests and was normal tremors which could be controlled w medications.

I HAVE SUFFERED WITH MIGRAINE HEADACHES FOR THE PAST 31 YEARS. I HAVE SEEN 17 DIFFERENT NEUROLOGISTS IN MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND. I HAVE RECEIVED NEEDLES AND MEDICATIONS AND NOTHING HAS WORKED UNTIL I FINALLY FOUND DR. MARANO ! HE NEVER GIVES UP ON YOU UNTIL HE CURES YOU. I NO LONGER SUFFER WITH MIGRAINES ! I was a patient of his for over three years. All of a sudden it was hard to get my Botox for my migraines because my insurance wouldn't pay enough. Come to find out he was trying to charge my insurance company extra! I found that out from my new neurologist. Dr Marano's office told me not to call them again, that they would call me about my Botox. Nice place.

At one point I was able to marginally recommend Dr. Marano. NOT ANY MORE. In the past year, his nice nurse practitioner Maria and his long time office manager have left. His other PA Bill left and was briefly replaced by a youngish PA who appeared clueless. Wait times in the office were always a problem, but are now downright ridiculous. Billing problems have been rampant in the past year as well. The final straw is that when I cancelled an appointment for next month, I was told he was booking into next April! As a long time established patient, that is completely unacceptable. Do yourself and family a favor by staying far away from this 3rd rate doctor.

Went there for a year. Out of that time I saw the Dr. for maybe a few minutes. They pushed me off on his assistant. After trying this pill and that pill "to see if it works" and it doesn't, they want to shoot you with Botox.

DR MARANO WAS THOUGHTFUL, KIND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND HELPFUL. HE WAS EFFICIENT AND ACCURATE. DIAGNOSIS WAS CORRECT. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM AS OFTEN AS I CAN
