Dr. Ali Hemacha, MD

So you don’t get to meet Dr. Hemacha until the day of your endoscopy / colonoscopy. You consult with his RN for the initial meeting. For someone who has never gone through the scoping process it can be a bit overwhelming and can lead to anxiety. The RN has very little tolerance for non-GI discussion, such as anxiety, and believes it to be a waste of her time to discuss. This causes an increase in anxiety, and doesn’t help the situation. Meeting the doctor who would be doing the scoping could easily remedy this situation, but he is too busy only doing procedures and it is not how their office operates. If going for GI scoping without meeting the actual doctor first works for you than this place may be ok, but if you have any sort of anxiety about endoscopes or colonoscopies, there are other practices around where you can meet the doctor beforehand and have a pleasant conversation discussing your concerns.

I love Dr Hemacha. I have been seeing him for 5 years now. He has gotten me into remission with my crohns disease. He is very concerned about his patients & treats them like family. I highly recommend him.

Been for a year and a half. Would not call in a refill but did not tell me and have not returned my calls either. I have been to 2 different PA's in the 3 visits there (they were nice) but I don't get why we are moved between and there is no continuity of doctors or care. As others have mentioned - those who call with the results are not really "there" and you feel that they do not have a clue what they are saying, only reading from a script. Also, only saw the doctor the day of my procedure - not before or after. There is no really caring about patients. I will look elsewhere.

Dr. Hemacha and his staff are fantastic! Friendly, caring and on time. Really knowledgeable and down to earth. I wish all doctors were like him.

Have had 4 colonoscopies and 1 endoscopy. Dr. Hemacha removed 4 pre-cancerous polyps and did 3 biopsies from various appts. I believe he saved my life.

I saw Audrey and she was great. The only downside was one of the people who called me with some of the test results was not up to date on what she was talking about and did not seem to care about the health of a patient if they had to keep postponing a test due to a medical issue that could not be helped.

Dr Hemacha cares about his patients, is very personable, professional and always has your best health in mind. Great, great doctor!

Good results from treatment, pleasant staff, seldom see the Physician Assistants are very helpful knowledgeable and available Audrey has been great - Office staff friendly helpful

Ali is a great physician. He has a great bedside manner.
