Dr. Ameeta Ahuja Walia, DO

Given the rating for Dr Walia, her staff is very unprofessional and dis-organized. Being in a health professional's in a cardiovascular field they do not even have the courtesy to keep patients informed about their lab results or appointments. I waited for a televisit follow up from an NP more than 1hr just to know about my lab's. Extremely disappointed.

Dr. Walia and Joanne and their whole team are exceptionally caring, kind, and attentive. They ease your nerves and give clear information and explanations. They do not rush you out and listen to your concerns.

Dr. Walia saved me. She changed my blood pressure medicine that my former doctor gave me. It was, for the first time in years, under control. I haven’t felt this good in years! Thank you Dr. Walia for listening to me when my other doctor didn’t!

Dr. Walia is very patient oriented and truly cares about the patients’ health. Thoroughly explains everything and is always polite. She and her staff ensure that I get all my medications in a timely manner and takes care of Prior Authorization with a quick turn around time. They are always good with making any changes to appointments for my convenience. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Ameeta A Walia is a cut above most cardiologist. She goes the extra mile to check your labs and with your regular physician to coordinate your care. She is beyond thorough and includes you in your plan of care. I love her style. The nurse practitioner is excellent also. The team well together to ensure that you have a prompt and thorough exam. They are patient with questions and are never rushed when talking with you. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

dr walia is one of the best cardiologists i have ever seen and i have been to dr swartz in columbia presbetarian in manhattan who was the doctor who operated on bill clinton. she is so thorough with her evaluation and most important gives you as much time as you need. Also the receptionist in front is one of the best anywhere.

Dr. Walia is awesome. She has excellent bedside manners and is very personable. I have going to her for the past two and a half years. The office staff is very accommodating. Has a friendly and family atmosphere. The entire staff knows my kids names and my dog's name. Despite being a busy practice, they make you feel so comfortable and you don't feel as if you are just another patient number. I would recommend Dr. Walia to everyone out there!!!

Dr. Walia was fantastic. The care and compassion in that office is unbeatable. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor genuinely care for your well being. She took a lot of time to get a thorough understanding of my medical history even before the exam. I was really pleasantly surprised that she was so generous with her time. I was explained my options in detail and came up with a comprehensive plan that was acceptable to me. Have found the right doctor. Highly recommend!
