Amr Al-Hariri

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the care I received from Dr. Al-hariri. My experience began when I was hospitalized for three days following an ER visit. Although I was told the doctor was available, he never visited me to discuss my condition. Upon my discharge, the attending physician instructed me to follow up at Dr. Al-hariri's office. During subsequent visits, I was consistently seen by his assistant rather than the doctor himself. When I finally met with Dr. Al-hariri, I found his demeanor condescending. Despite undergoing numerous tests, including a spinal tap, he insisted nothing was wrong. I was required to return every few weeks, yet no progress was made regarding my symptoms, which included difficulty walking, daily headaches, double vision, and chronic fatigue. Furthermore, the office appeared inexperienced with completing disability paperwork, and the doctor eventually discontinued my disability support despite having no diagnosis or… improvement in my condition. I eventually sought a second opinion from another physician who promptly diagnosed me with a stroke behind my eye. It is distressing to realize that the months spent under Dr. Al-hariri’s care were a significant waste of time and resources, during which my health continued to suffer. I am sharing this info to ensure this doesn't happen to others.

Dr. Amr A Al-Hariri is one of the most present, respectful, and honest doctors I have ever seen... and unfortunately I have seen a lot.

Worst office EVER!

Dr. Al-Hariri didn't ask for my symptoms, or inquire about what brought me to his office. He talked over me, dismissed my questions and concerns. He asked me if my headaches occured around my periods twice, wrote me a prescription for an anti-depressants and another medication. Both of those medications came with specific instructions and when I asked for clarification, Dr. Al-Hariri said that if I couldn't remember the instructions, then he would only prescribe one of them. When I asked if he would write them down, he said they were too complicated to write down. The entire examine lasted maybe five to ten minutes. I felt rushed, unheard, patronized, and dismissed. There was no explanation for the course of action and medication. I left the office in tears because I was so frustrated, angry, and ignored. This has been the worst experience with a doctor in my life.

Very arrogant and he was rude when I was asking a question. He interrupted me and I felt he didn’t want to spend any time with me.

We waited over an hour and neither the staff or doctor had the courtesy to let us know of the delay nor did they apologize for the wait. The doctor is uncompassionate and rushed the examination. He hastily answered our questions and doesn't take the time to understand the condition/symptoms. He is the worse Dr we have seen in the St. Joseph organization.

I had seen Dr. Al-Hariri and was given paperwork for lab tests. I had to take off more than half a day to get everything done. At the lab they said, he did tell you that these would take about 4 hours. No he didn't. I had the tests done and made a return appointment to get the results. I took off work early for the 3:30 pm appointment I had. I arrived at his office at 3:15 and signed in. The waiting room was full. He calls his patients back himself, so eventually everyone that was there before me was called back. Then the waiting room filled up again, and everyone was called back before me. At 4:30 I asked if I was going to be seen and was told that they had me checked in. The room was empty, two more people came in and they were called back by 4:45. When the second person was called back, I stood up and told the receptionist I was out of there because I had a 3:30 appt and wasn't waiting any longer. So totally unbelievable!!! I still don't have the results to me lab tests. … They took 22 vials of blood to test. My PCP has been calling his office to get the results for me, but so far they aren't giving them to her. I just could not believe two rooms emptied out and still I hadn't been called back. Doctors seem to think they are the most important and don't concern themselves about how their patients have to take time off work and when they aren't called back within a certain amount of time, we should be able to bill the doctor for our time waiting on them. My time is just as important to me as his is to him. I allowed enough time (1 1/2 hr) to be called back to get my results. This happened in October and I haven't received a letter with my results, not a phone call with my results, nothing from his office. I saw my PCP in November and she has been trying to get the results since then. The office is very unprofessional to not respond to another doctor's numerous requests. My PCP called me two days ago and said she was still trying to get results from his office. So sad that he won't work with the patient's PCP. So if you have an appointment with him, allow for at least a two hour sit in the waiting room.

For Dr. Al-Hariri to close down his practice and not tell his patience or make any other arrangements - or suggestions of another doctor is horrible --- very thoughtless procedure to do. Feel he should be reported to the medical board !

1) He prescribed a drug that an MS expert my insurance sent me to in Los Angeles told me was contraindicated because of another health issue, which Dr. al-Hariri didn't ask about, and 2) he talked down to me. He's not only impatient, but he doesn't like it when people search the internet.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson's by four other doctor's over a period of 15 years, Dr. Al-Hariri said he didn't see that, a seems to have found another problem that can be fixed.
