Dr. Andres Felipe Orjuela, MD

We had booked a ear tube surgery for my 2y.o. son with dr. Orjuela. We were told to be at the hospital at 7:45 am and we should be called in within 1 hour.we arrived at 7:30am. Since he was to be under anesthesia , he wasn’t supposed to eat or drink anything before the surgery. I kept him busy for 1 hour watching youtube videos, but he started crying for water. He hadn’t had anything to eat or drink since 9pm . They were calling patients who arrived later than us, and didn’t care that my 2 year old had been waiting for 2 hours. They(the staff)called us into a enclosed hallway, to keep the baby calm but wouldn’t give us an estimate of the time of the surgery. Finally a nurse came in to have me sign the paperwork. Additionally to the ventilation tubes they had him for adenoids removal which was never agreed on. He does not need that procedure! She went to straighten that up with the doctor, and I was expecting the doctor to come out explain why we had been waiting for so long and why… there is an additional procedure added. Didn’t have the patience and the heart keeping my son hungry and thirsty , for God knows how much longer, and told them I had to leave. The receptionist “suggested “ if I do decide to come back for the surgery to ask to be called in earlier. What a joke!!

he's a great doctor. he is patient and answers any questions you have in detail. i love this doctor for my Son the office staff is great very nice.

Dr. Orjuela is effective and efficient. He diagnosed my son's sinus infection, performed the surgery and has followed up with care and humanitarian concern. Dr. Orjuela is very personable and has excellent bedside manners. I highly recommend him.
