Dr. Andrew Allen Doherty, MD

Went there 2 times-both times there was misunderstandings as to why I was there. 1st time they said I was going to have a procedure I knew nothing about. Last time, dr Doherty thought my test were from a year ago when I just gotten them last week…I was diagnosed with hpv-I left with no discussion of how I can build up my immune system until the next pap- nothing! Just found a wonder new on gyn at UOfM, I feel so much support and education- it’s like day and night!!!!

I never thought I'd have a male OBGyn physician as my main OBGyn. I always preferred a female physician until I met Dr. Doherty. Now he's my regular OB Gyn physician. I've had multiple losses and he was very compassionate as well as an advocate for me during those times. He provided all the options and is very patient-centered. I've also had successful pregnancies and he's been very knowledgeable. He quickly answers all questions and inquires. He's an active listener and practices very evidence based medicine. I appreciate him and highly recommend him.
