Dr. Andrew Hicks Borom, MD

He did a tendon repair in left foot. Bedside manor is one star. My last visit with him, he called me a liar, that I made his staff out liars. I ask why and also wanted to set up a meeting with his supervisor it never happened

Dr. Borom is an incredibly approachable, thorough & personable surgeon. He successfully performed surgery for insertional Achilles tendinosis on BOTH of my feet. He came highly recommended to me as an accomplished expert and from our first consultation, made me feel confident and supported through what would turn out to be a long recovery. The team he works with at TOC are exceptional and communicative, especially Robbie Weaver, again, so important with longer recovery periods. I will forever be grateful I chose him!

When I had a foot problem, I asked several friends in the local medical community (Docs and nurses) who the absolute best surgeon was to take care of my complicated problem. Every one of them had the same answer. Dr. Borom was excellent and I am now walking pain free. Staff was great as well.

Dr. Borom saw my son for his ankle and foot. He was very informative and took good care of my son.

I took my son in due to an ankle injury and Dr. Borom was extremely thorough. His staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I appreciated the time he took to explain everything.

I recently had the bunion on my "other" foot removed and while it was not a very pleasant experience, as far as pain goes, I knew I was in very capable hands.

Dr. Borom is the surgeon who was on call when I was hit by a drunk driver in Tallahassee in 2007. The hospital told me I wouldn't walk and Dr. Borom was called in to help. He did an amazing job and got me back to being able to walk because he is a dedicated and very well trained surgeon. Through the years he is the only surgeon I have had to see and can say I have gotten to see how he handles other patients in the same committed way he treats me. Most recently now 2017 he had to operate on me again and I would not trust anyone else with my foot and ankle. Simply put he is the best and extremely compassionate! His staff is also the same and they represent a quality healthcare team.

After several meetings with PA's, I finally met Dr. Borom, the minute before I went under for ankle surgery. He told me he was not sure what he was going to do. This, of course, did not make me feel comfortable. One year later my damaged ankle that he performed on is still very painful. If Doctor Borom knows sympathy, he does not show it.

He doesn't want to answer questions. Very arrogant, dismissive, makes snide comments. Extremely (!) rude staff thatn is condescending to the point of yelling at you for asking questions about the procedures. Horrible patient care. Inaccurate information given in meeting with dr. Horrible experience and the only bright light is I got away before this narcissistic man could operate on me. Stay away!!!

My experiences with Dr. boron have convinced me that he is an extremely talented surgeon.
