Dr. Andrew Edward Luckey III, MD

Dr Luckey is a nice and friendly surgeon. But he does not follow up on his postoperative patient in clinic except once a week on Tuesdays only. So if his patient has complication, he either tell them to go to ER or wait for him to be seen in his office after a week on next Tuesday. I prefer to go to a surgeon that is available to his patient after surgery and treat their complication in a timely manner before it gets worse waiting for him to be seen next week.

Dr Luckey will do the surgery but then his office secretary will try to get rid of his patients who encounter postoperative complications. He has rude office staff and they are not caring. It is not recommended to be seen by a surgeon whose his office staff are rude and they will not try to connect you with the surgeon who did the surgery to follow up any complications.

Doctor Luckey is the best surgeon I have ever dealt with. Not only is he highly qualified, but he is also friendly, courteous, and respectful. He performed my lumpectomy with success. He also goes above and beyond for his patients. I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Luckey removed my daughters inflamed gallbladder at Simi Valley Hospital. He took the time to come and see my daughter before the surgery to explain everything and made her feel at ease for her first surgery. In the few days she was in the hospital after surgery, Dr. Luckey came to see my daughter every morning by 10:00 am. He never made her wait. Thank you Dr Luckey for taking such great care of my daughter.

Dr. Luckey performed an emergency appendectomy on my ruptured appendix 7 days after I had given birth. Every doctor who I saw in those days prior failed me saying that my amdominal pains we “normal” after giving birth. Had I waited another day I probably wouldn’t have survived the disaster than was inside me. Dr Luckey was so amazing and kind I am so fortunate he was on call that night.

Dr. Luckey saved my life yes, but more than that he possesses that rare quality we all hope to find in a Dr. Luckey treated me with kindness, concern and caring. Whenever I think about how extremely kind I was treated by Dr. Luckey both during my emergency surgery process as well as later by his personal staff during my follow up and the removal of the staples. Dr. Luckey has restored my faith in the medical profession.

Dr. Luckey has performed two surgeries on my daughter (breast lumpectomies - rather large). He is fantastic, kind, listens well and really cares for his patients. He doesn't string you along. With Dr. Luckey you can worry about your loved one/yourself and NOT your doctor. Trust him 100% with my daughter. How often can you say that!

Dr. Luckey is a fantastic doctor. He is kind, knowledgeable and thorough. It is very scary to be SENT to a doctor you don't know but rest assured he is trustworthy. He listens, explains and has a keen sense of awareness. I am very grateful to have him for a lumpectomy (breast)
