Dr. Troung is a great surgeon and attentive after my surgery. He's straight forward and to the point and I appreciate his approach.

Will not be returning to this office. Initially, I thought he was great but then no call back on CT results done in office, no follow up phone call from him about how to go forward. Anna, his assistant, was snippy on phone because I was calling every day trying to get Ct results and how to go forward. This was after 7 days and no word from them. Will not recommend him unless it’s for a basic sinus infection.

I was referred to Dr. Ahn Troung by my yoga instructor, who had sinus surgery with him before. I was getting repeated colds every 2-3 months for over two years that was wearing my energy down. I couldn't taste or smell for a long time and only only got temporary relief with antibiotics. My instructor had so much relief from the surgery that I was ready to go through with it. He diagnosed me with chronic sinus infection, but wanted to try treating me conservatively with medications first. I felt better, but then started to have trouble breathing and smelling again a month after course of antibiotics. My energy was low and I didn't want to do anything. We finally decided to go ahead with sinus surgery. The recovery was not as bad as I thought. I took some pain medications for one day, but just took Tylenol the next day. The rest of the recovery was easy. I can breathe, smell, and don't feel like a zombie any more! Dr. Troung was great through the whole process. I appreciate that he… was more conservative at first and didn't take me to surgery right off the bat. He was very thorough with everything, but still called me the night after the surgery to make sure I was doing OK. He was very straightforward with the recovery process and everything went as he said. I can tell that he cares a lot about his patients and I glad that my instructor mentioned him to me. The only critique I have is that he sees patients at two locations and there was some confusion as to where I was supposed to go for my follow up. Turns out he had last minute emergency surgery and they changed his clinic location at the last minute and I didn't get the phone message. Luckily, it was in the middle of the day and going from Issaquah to Bellevue only took 10 minutes. Other than that, Dr. Troung was great and thoughtful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
