Dr. Anil Prasad Shrestha, MD

I saw him for my follow up for blood work results. Wasn't sure the first time I met him that I trusted him. He was very short and would not let me speak. I was told during my review he could try me on other meds. I asked him if they would help. He said he had no idea. I said "Aren't you the doctor? Have you tried this with others who had positive or negative outcome?" He laughed at me and said he didn't know and he suggested I find a specialist. There was a poster on his wall about thyroid disorders. I was diagnosed in 2010 with Hashimotos. I pointed to the poster and said "Doctor, I have every symptom on that wall. The poster states patients should tell their doctor if they have any of these symptoms. I'm sitting here telling you I do and you want to send me to a specialist. Aren't you a specialist?" He cut me off half way through and was laughing at me. I was so disgusted I walked out of the office. This man is not professional, could care less to trouble shoot or… find a solution to help a patient. He showed no concern or empathy. Just getting paid by the insurance companies. Save your time, frustration and money. Find another doctor.

I have seen Dr. Shrestha twice now and both times he was a good listener, respectful and focused on my main concerns. His front office staff are friendly and always smiling. The only issue I had was that I had to wait a long time to discuss results of my lab work, which I was very anxious for. As a whole, I will be continuing treatment at this office.

Heather in his office does not relay messages. Your never know what she is up to when she answers the phone and she does not take responsibility for her actions. Dr. Shrestha should keep an eye on her closely. She is ruining his business.
